Los Angeles: On Friday, September 19, 2003, at about 10:00 p.m., 24 year-old Mark Allen Antenorcruz and his companions were walking through the Dodger Stadium parking lot towards lot 27 after leaving the stadium where a Dodgers/Giants game was ongoing. The victim became involved in a dispute with the suspects, two men and a woman. The argument between both parties continued until the suspects reached their vehicle which was parked in lot 27.
According to witnesses, the suspects went into their car and one of the suspects armed himself with a handgun and shot the victim, critically wounding him.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
On Sunday, September 23, 2003, at about 4:00 a.m., 33 year-old Manuel Hernandez, a resident of Southgate was arrested in connection to this incident. A second suspect has been identified as 19 year-old Pete Marron and is being sought.
A press conference is being held to announce the City’s offer of a $25,00.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Pete Marron. A photo of Marron will be made available at the conference.
