27-Year-Old Dies At a Local Night Club

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the undetermined death of a 27-year-old who was patronizing a local night club.
On Saturday, December 2, 2006, at approximately 2:00 A.M., officers responded to a radio call at the Grand Avenue Club, in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue, downtown Los Angeles. Upon arrival officers were directed to the enclosed entry to the club where the victim, a male Black, was lying on the floor. The victim appeared to be in cardiac arrest. Paramedics already at the location on an unrelated incident provided medical attention to the victim.
The victim was transported to California Hospital where he died a short time later. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family. The cause of death will be investigated by Central Area detectives.
