Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible the murder of 33-year-old Dominic Lord, a Los Angeles resident.
On April 1, 2022, around 6:11 p.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to the area of 89th Street and Western Avenue for a radio call of an ‘Assault with a Deadly Weapon’.
Prior to officers’ arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department had responded to the area and transported a victim (later identified as Dominic Lord) to a local hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Lord failed to respond to medical aid and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Detectives located surveillance video, revealing that Lord and four suspects exited a bus at 89th Street and Western Avenue. The suspects briefly argued with Lord, then chased and surrounded Lord, who subsequently fell to the ground. While on the ground, Lord was stabbed.
The suspects fled and were last seen eastbound on Manchester Avenue, east of Harvard Boulevard.
The suspects are described as two Black females and two Black males, all between the ages of 14-16.
