35th Annual Holiday Party for Downtown Area Kids

WHY:   
On Friday, the Central City Police Boosters will host the 35th Annual Holiday Program at the Shrine Auditorium.  More than 1,500 kids who live in the downtown area will enjoy an old-fashioned carnival with rides, game booths, jumpers, and the Al Maliakah Shrine Clowns.  Lunch and treats will be provided by the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, VONS and Kraft Foods.  

The holiday program has been organized by the LAPD Central Area Community Relations Office (CRO), and fundraising for the event was coordinated by the Central City Police Boosters.  The Central City Police Boosters is a 501c3 nonprofit organization made up of representatives from downtown businesses.
