North Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who killed Michael Pebley, a resident of Pacoima.
On Thursday, October 9, 2014, around 5:50 p.m., North Hollywood patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 6300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard. When the officers arrived, they discovered the victim lying on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound.
The suspect was inside a business in the 6300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard when the victim walked in. The victim and suspect became involved in an argument that escalated to a physical fight. The suspect and victim exited the business, at which time the suspect produced a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the area.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Mr. Pebley dead at the scene.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic or male White standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall. The suspect weighs between 190-200 pounds and is 25-30 years old.
