50-year-old Female and 40-year-old Male Arrested for Human Trafficking NR14151nv

Los Angeles:  Based on a criminal investigation initiated on March 25, 2014, by Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Robbery Homicide Division Detectives working the Los Angeles Metropolitan Task Force on Human Trafficking, arrested a 50-year-old female and a 40-year-old male for alleged human trafficking violations.

The arrests were the result of an ongoing three week labor related human trafficking investigation involving an 11-year-old female.  The investigation led Robbery-Homicide Detectives to the arrest of 50-year-old Dora Alicia Valle and 40-year-old Estrada Melvin Sandoval.

After reviewing the investigation, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, filed multiple charges against Valle and Sandoval for the claim of human trafficking of a minor.
