What: News Conference to announce a reward offer for information leading to the identification and arrest of attempted murder suspects.

Why: On June 10, 2016, around 6:00 p.m., at intersection of Chicago Street and Rogers Avenue in the City of Los Angeles, two young girls who also happened to be sisters were waiting to cross the street. A vehicle drove by and one of the passengers fired several gunshots at a bicyclist riding near the girls. One of the sisters was struck by that gunfire and collapsed to the ground. The suspect’s vehicle fled from the scene as laughter was heard coming from the same car. The dangerous suspects involved need to be identified and taken into custody.
