Note: Family members of the victim will be in attendance and available to the media.

WHY: On January 7th, 2017, Eloise Elizarraraz, the mother of three young children, was murdered in the city of Sylmar while driving to work. Detectives have positively identified Eloise’s ex-boyfriend as Jose Benjamin Rodriguez, who is currently wanted in connection with this murder. However, police have been unable to locate his whereabouts.

This press conference is being scheduled in order to announce the reward to be offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. The reward may convince a reluctant family member or person close to Rodriguez to come forward and provide information that will result in the location and arrest of Rodriguez for this murder.
