WHAT: A News Conference to announce the $50,000 reward offered by the Los Angeles City Council to apprehend the murderer of Moses Nelson.

WHEN: Thursday, February 12, 2015 10 a.m.

WHO: Representative of the Los Angeles City Councilman Curren D. Price Captain Jorge Rodriguez, Newton Area Commanding Officer Detective Richard Arciniega, Newton Homicide Division Detective Leonardo Mc Kenzie, Newton Homicide Division Family members of victim Moses Nelson

WHY: On November 23, 2014, around 9 a.m., Moses Nelson was walking in the area of 57th Street and Naomi Avenue when he was approached by the suspect who was riding a bicycle. The suspect produced a handgun and shot Victim Nelson several times, Los Angeles City Fire Paramedics responded to the scene and Nelson was pronounced dead. The Office of Councilman Curren D. Price has obtained a $50,000 reward from the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the death of Moses Nelson.
