WHAT: A News Conference to announce a $50,000 reward offered by the Los Angeles City Council for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects responsible for the murder of 15-year old Willy Barrios.

WHEN: Monday, December 14, 2015 10 a.m.

WHERE: Foothill Area Community Police Station 12760 Osborne Street Pacoima, CA 91331

WHO: LAPD Captain Ernest Eskridge, Foothill Area Commanding Officer LAPD Detective Michael Berretta, Foothill Area Homicide LAPD Officer Gabriel Bucknell, Foothill Area Homicide Family members of Willy Barrios

WHY: On Monday, October 26, 2015, at around 2:20 a.m. officers saw William lying on the sidewalk. He was found on Van Nuys Boulevard near Norris Avenue. William was shot on the head and was pronounced dead by the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the perpetrators involved in this murder.
