Arely Vasquez was located earlier today in the City of Torrance.  She is okay and has reunited with her family.

Los Angeles:   The family of Arely Vasquez and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s help to locate Vasquez.

On July 14, 2012, around 6:45 p.m., Vasquez was last seen leaving the Henderson Nevada area on her way back to Los Angeles when she became disorientated and could not find her way home.  Vasquez called her family telling them she was lost. Vasquez found herself in Palmdale then the San Fernando Mission area. Vasquez’ last phone call was made last night, July 15th at around 8 p.m. from possibly the downtown L.A. area. Vasquez has not returned home and there has been no contact from her since last night. Vasquez’ family is extremely concerned for her safety. Vasquez family told investigators that she has never gone missing before and this is very unusual.

Arely Vasquez is described as a 61-year-old female Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. Vasquez was last seen wearing a pink striped shirt and a dark colored skirt with flower pattern and driving a 1999 beige Lexus 300RX License plate number: 4GTW536.
