Around 2:37 p.m., Derek was located in the area of 5th street and San Pedro street, in Downtown Los Angeles. Derek was in good health and will be reunited with is family. Investigators will continue to look into the circumstances.

 

 

Los Angeles: The family of Derek Clay and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area are asking for the public’s help in locating 7-year-old Derek Clay.

Derek was last seen on Tuesday April 4, 2023 at around 4:30 p.m. in the courtyard of an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Crenshaw Blvd. Derek is described as a 7-year-old male Black with short black hair, brown eyes, and a medium build. He stands 5 feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, grey sweater, dark pants and blue shoes.
