$75,000 Reward Offer for Two Murder Victims

Why:        
Councilmember Garcetti’s office will issue a reward offering up to $75,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects who murdered Lusine Safaryan and Khachik Safaryan.

On December 11, 2008, Officers responded to 1200 block of Tamarind Ave at approximately 3:15 p.m. in reference to what appears to be a double homicide.  The victims have been identified as 8 year old Lusine Safaryan and her father, Khachik Safaryan age 43.  A 15 year old family member discovered the bodies and called 911.

The incident is believed to have occurred on December 11, 2008, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying the person(s) responsible for this vicious crime.
