Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in a hit and run collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, around 8:00 p.m., a hit and run traffic collision occurred on Orchard Avenue north of Washington Boulevard. A white pick-up truck collided with an
8-year-old pedestrian and left the scene heading south on Orchard Avenue to Washington Boulevard.
The vehicle involved is described as a white pick-up truck with flare side bed and black steps on the cab.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.
