92-Year-Old Man Missing

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and the family and friends request the public’s assistance in locating 92-year-old Jose Paulino Ortega.

Mr. Ortega was last seen on May 30, 2007, at about 7:30 A.M., leaving his residence in the 8000 Block of Cedros Avenue in Van Nuys. He was headed to a recycling center in the area of Arminta Street and Van Nuys Boulevard.

He is described as a Hispanic with gray hair, brown eyes, 5′ tall and about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing white pants and a green and brown checkered shirt. Mr. Ortega is described as being in good mental condition, but has suffered memory loss in the past.
