A Shooting Left A Young Man Dead in North Hollywood NR22345rc

North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of a 21-year-old male, a Mission Hills resident.

On November 20, 2022, at 2:03 a.m., North Hollywood Area Patrol Officers responded to an “ADW Shooting at Burbank Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue.” Upon arrival the officers found the person reporting at scene. He stated the victim had been struck by gunfire at a local convenience store on Burbank Boulevard.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notifications.

OVB Homicide was contacted and assumed responsibility of the investigation. At the time of this report, detectives were attempting to locate exactly where the shooting occurred.

Detectives will follow-up with canvassing and searching for video surveillance from the area, Burbank Boulevard and Whitsett Avenue and other possible locations.

There is no suspect information.
