Altercation Results in Death NR15340ne

North Hills: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for the shooting death of a 20-year-old, male black who was shot during an altercation with unknown suspect(s).

On Sunday, October 4, 2015 at around 11:08 p.m., Mission Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of “shots fired” in the area of the 8200 block of Noble Avenue. When the officers arrived they discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of his death to his family. Detectives have not determined a motive for the shooting.
