Altercation Results In Fatal Stabbing

Los Angeles: Central Homicide Detectives are investigating the stabbing of a 22-year old Binh Huynh, a male Vietnemese of San Gabriel.
On Sunday, December 15, 2002 at approximately 12:30 a.m., the victim was involved in a physical altercation with possibly three male Asians in the stairwell of the parking structure attached to 122 Japanese Village Plaza. The altercation escalated and at least one of the suspect armed himself with a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the upper torso.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The victim was pronounced dead on 12-15-02 at 1:25 a.m., as a results of his injuries.
The motive for the killing and the suspect(s) identity have not been determined.
