DETAILS: The Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives (ABLE) respectfully invites the media to our Annual Black History Month Celebration. Come hear about the rich history of African Americans on the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives was established in 1974 by a group of sworn management level African American Los Angeles Police Department personnel with a shared mission dedicated to promoting mentoring, organizational and community leadership, and enhancing the department’s community policing efforts.
