"Argument Leads To Stabbing Death"

Pacoima – On Saturday, October 21, 2000, at 4:55 p.m., Foothill Area Patrol Officers responded to a stabbing investigation at Pierce Street and Glenoaks Boulevard. The preliminary investigation indicated that the victim, identified by relatives as Lonnie Franklin, a 24 year old resident of Lake View Terrace, was stabbed during an argument with a friend. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

The suspect, identified as Marlon Fowler, a 22 year old resident of Pacoima, was arrested at the scene and has been booked for Murder. No motive has been established.
