Armored Car Robbery Suspects Sought

Los Angeles – On Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at approximately 4:10 p.m., a courier for Armored Transport, Inc. completed a pick up at the U.S.C. Federal Credit Union. As the courier exited and headed back towards the armored vehicle, he was approached by two male African-American suspects. One blocked the courier’s path while the other approached from behind and pointed a semi automatic handgun to the courier’s head. The suspects robbed the courier of a tote bag which contained U.S. currency and checks. Both suspects then fled the location on foot. Armored Transport, Inc. is offering a $20,000.00 reward for information leading to the recovery of property, identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible for this robbery.
