Arrest made in Reseda Assaults NR20042ll

Reseda: The Los Angeles Police
Department’s West Valley Division detectives arrested a suspect for
multiple felony charges, including Sodomy and Oral copulation of
unconscious victims involving minors.

On January 21, 2020 the suspect befriended a 16-year-old boy at a
bus stop and eventually lured him back to his apartment, where he
served the victim alcohol. The victim fell in and out of sleep and
the suspect sodomized him.

On February 9, 2020, the suspect lured another 15-year-old boy to
his residence. The suspect served the victim alcohol. The victim
fell asleep from the effects of alcohol and was later awakened by
the suspect orally copulating him.

Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Lewis Sibomana,
a 30-year-old resident of Reseda. During the afternoon hours of
Sunday, February 9, 2020, Lewis was arrested.

In addition to charges stemming from the sexual assaults, Lewis
Sibomana was arrested for another count of sexual battery related
to additional crimes already being investigated. These cases were
presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. The
District Attorney’s Office filed counts for Sodomy with an
unconscious victim, Oral copulation of an unconscious victim, and
sexual battery.
