During the weekend of August 20-22, 2021, the suspect terrorized the community by using a folding knife to slash the tires of multiple parked vehicles. The suspect also threw a brick at a window causing it to shatter. The suspect fled the area riding a bicycle. Early estimates place the value of the damage caused by the suspect in the thousands of dollars. Pacific auto detectives conducted a thorough investigation and after speaking with numerous victims, witnesses, and reviewing evidence the suspect was identified as Roland Morrow, a parolee at large. On August 23, 2021, Roland Morrow was located and taken into custody without incident.
The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Roland Morrow, a black male weighing 220 pounds and standing at 6 feet 5 inches. Roland Morrow was booked for violation of California Penal code §594 (B) (1) – Felony Vandalism, his booking number is 6236160, and his bail is set at, “no bail” due to an unrelated parole warrant.
