Assault Suspects Caught on Camera NR15335lp

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Newton Division, is asking for the public’s
help in identifying the suspects, who were caught on surveillance
video assaulting a local store owner.

On Monday, September 21, 2015, around 7:00 p.m. the victim was
working at his store in the 5400 block of South Hooper Avenue when
he observed two male Blacks and one female Hispanic come into the
store. The suspects tried to leave the store without paying for
bottles of alcohol. The victim confronted the suspects and an
altercation occurred. During the altercation one of the suspects
hit the victim on the head with a bottle and repeatedly kicked him
in the head. Another suspect stabbed the victim in the abdomen. All
three suspects ran away from the scene. The assault was caught on
surveillance camera.

Two of the suspects were described as male, Blacks between 15 and
19 years of age. The third suspect was described as a female
Hispanic, approximately 18-years-old.
