At Risk Child Missing; Public’s Help Needed – UPDATE

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Area Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing, at risk, 9 year-old child.
On Tuesday October 7, 2003, at 12:00 p.m., Genny Marlene Gamaro, a 9 year-old female Hispanic and resident of Van Nuys, left her apartment located in the 14200 block of Sylvan Street. Genny left her home after becoming upset with her guardian, and has not returned home.
Genny is described as a female Hispanic, 4’ 4", 60 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, a red and white T-shirt and a sweat shirt with the word "Princess". She is in good mental condition.

UPDATE: On Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at about 9:15 p.m., Genny was found in the West End of the San Fernando Valley. MTA Bus personnel notified Van Nuys Area Police Station. The child was found in good condition.
