June 3, 2005

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and the family of Marisha Renee Toussaint are requesting the public’s assistance in locating their daughter.
Marisha was last seen leaving her residence on the 300 block East 120th Street on May 29, 2005, at about 5:00 PM. Marisha told her guardian, Ms. Birdell Bingham, that she was going to see an unknown male friend whom she may have met on a telephone party line. Marisha was seen going toward the Blue Line station near her residence.
Marisha is at risk due to having a liver transplant approximately three years ago. Marisha takes medication three times a day to prevent liver rejection. Without the medication, she will need hospitalization. Marisha’s condition may impede her ability to safely return home.
