The Los Angeles Police Department has new automated enforcement cameras at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The news conference will highlight the system’s capabilities and advise the motoring public of its existence within Operations-West Bureau (OWB). This is the 5th activation within OWB (19th in the City) with a new PRL monitoring system, which records vehicle license plates that run red lights. In the near future, 13 additional locations will be outfitted with comparable machinery, totaling 32 intersections Citywide.

DVDs from the equipment manufacturer will be distributed to the media at the conclusion of the news conference. The DVD details the features of the new system.
