WHAT: Northeast Community Police Station’s “Shop with a Cop”

WHEN: Wednesday, August 15, 2018 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday, August 16, 2018 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: Northeast Community Police Station 3353 N. San Fernando Road Los Angeles, Ca 90065 (Meeting location)

Staples Office Supply Store 3360 N. San Fernando Road Los Angeles, Ca 90065 (Shopping location)

WHO: LAPD Captain Arturo Sandoval, Northeast Division Commanding Officer LAPD Northeast Division Senior Lead Officers, Patrol Officers and Detectives Twenty-five children from the local Northeast Community

WHY: Through the generosity of the Mathew 25:35 Foundation, twenty-five children from Northeast will be accompanied by a Police Officer as they shop for their back to school supplies. The children and their Officer escorts will walk from the Northeast Community Police Station to the Staples store across the street from the station where the children will select a backpack and necessary tools to start the school year.
