Beaten Man Dies

Los Angeles: Saturday morning, October 8, 2005, at 2:58 a.m., LAPD officers responded to a radio call broadcast of a fight at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Fuller Avenue.  When the officers arrived at the location they observed the victim of a severe beating lying against the curb.  
The investigation revealed that the victim identified as Kevin Milton Hanson had been sitting in a car at the location with a Caucasian man and woman.  The man was seen severely beating the victim both inside and outside of the car.  The suspects then drove away from the location leaving Mr. Hanson lying in the street.  The man and the woman were described as being in their mid twenties.  Their car was described as a small Silver or Grey colored, Sports Utility Vehicle.
Mr. Hanson was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he died as a result of the violent attack.
The victim, Kevin Milton Hanson, is a 48 year-old and CEO of Vanguard Corporation International.  Mr. Hanson had been temporarily residing at a nearby Hollywood Hotel.
