Big Tujunga Wash Road Closure News Advisory 1

Anticipated Road Closures and Alternate Route

Effective Immediately – and continuing throughout the next 24 hours
Where:     
Arizona Crossing at the Big Tujunga Canyon Road at Oro Vista Avenue

Why:   
It is expected that the Arizona Crossing, located at Big Tujunga Canyon Road and Oro Vista Road will be impassible to traffic due to rising water in the Big Tujunga Wash.  Residents must use the Conover Fire Road as an alternate route.
At the direction of the Unified Command, LAPD and LAFD resources are currently announcing the road closures and alternate routes to approximately 36 affected properties in the Riverwood area.
