Body Found Wrapped Up in a Blanket – Update

**UPDATE**

Hollywood: On June 26, 2000, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Hollywood Officers responded to a call of a possible murder investigation in the 1700 block of North Orange Drive. Witnesses had indicated that two individuals were seen carrying a possible body out of an apartment complex. When the officers arrived, they located the body of a 27-year-old male, wrapped in a blanket next to a trash bin.

Follow-up investigation indicated the body had been possibly dragged from one of the apartments at 1775 North Orange Drive. Further investigation has resulted in the arrest of Christopher R. Schuhmacher, 26-years-old, a resident of Hollywood, and Timothy B. Sheahan, 22- years-old, a resident of Huntington Beach. Both suspects were arrested and booked for murder with bail amount of $1,000,000.00.

The victim was found to have expired as the result of a stab wound. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
