Burglary Suspect Caught On Video NR14020sm

January 20, 2014

Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department Detectives are seeking the public’s help in apprehending a suspect whom they believe is responsible for Burglaries that have occurred in the Hollywood Hills.

On January 15, 2014, around 2:00 P.M., officers were called to a residence located in the 2700 block of La Cuesta Drive to investigate a Burglary that had just occurred. Surveillance video captured the suspect as he knocked on the victim’s door, in what the detectives believe was an attempt to confirm if anyone was home. After there was no answer, the suspect walked to the side of the house, jumped the fence and walked to the rear sliding glass door. At that time the suspect used a hard object to break the glass door, and then entered the residence. The suspect gathered numerous electronic devices, including an Apple laptop, and (5) five cellular telephones. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 years of age.  He stands 5’-6” to 5’-10” tall, weighs approximately 200-210 pounds, and has a shaved head. The suspect wore a white T-shirt, black and white striped Adidas sweatpants, and white tennis shoes.

Detectives believe this suspect may be responsible for other residential burglaries in the Hollywood Hills area and are seeking the public’s help in identifying him.
