West Los Angeles: LAPD seeks public’s assistance in identifying suspect responsible for burglarizing at least three homes for sale after suspect’s image was captured on surveillance video.
The first burglary occurred on September 7, 2014, around 3:00 p.m., in the 12000 block of Promotory Road. The second occurred on September 16, 2014 approximately 11:00 a.m. on the 9000 block of Liebe Drive and the last was on October 7, 2014 around 2:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of Hutton Drive.
All burglaries have occurred during or shortly after "Open Houses" for residences listed for sale. Detectives believe the suspect has knowledge of or is associated with the real estate profession. In each crime, the suspect has taken jewelry and high-end watches. The suspect is described as a male Asian who stands 5 feet and 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with short hair and eye glasses.
