On October 16, 2014, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Mr. Alkadi’s remains were discovered alongside the 10 Freeway near the Cook Street overpass in the City of Palm Desert.
On Monday afternoon, October 20, 2014, Chief Charlie Beck will conduct a press conference regarding the status of Robbery-Homicide Division’s investigation into the disappearance and death of CSUN student Abdullah Alkadi.
Because the investigation is at a crucial juncture, further information surrounding this investigation will not be released until the news conference.
Northridge: The family of Abdullah Abdullatif Alkadi and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
On September 17, 2014, around 12:00 p.m., Alkadi was last seen at his residence located in the 9900 block of Reseda Boulevard. Alkadi is a full time student at Cal State Northridge. His family is extremely concerned for his welfare.
Alkadi is described as a 23-year-old male Middle Eastern with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. Alkali was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and beige shorts.
