CARE Alert Issued for young teenager

Missing Juvenile has been located and is in good condition.
He is being reunited with his family.

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement efforts in locating an abducted teenager.

On June 6, 2008, at around 1:15p.m, Anthony Thomas Junior’s aunt, Antoinita Shantell Thomas, went to his school located at 2303 South Gramercy Place, in Los Angeles and abducted the juvenile.  

Anthony is 17 years old, but has the mental capacity of a 10-year old, suffers from cerebral palsy, and is confined to a wheelchair.  He needs medication twice a day, but has not taken his medication in the last 24 hours.  Anthony was last seen wearing a yellow and purple Lakers shirt and unknown color jeans.

Antoinita took Anthony from his wheelchair and left the school, leaving the wheelchair behind. It is unknown at this time where she might have taken the child.

Antoinita is a 23-year old, African American, with brown hair and hazel eyes.  She stands 5’06 tall and weighs 170 pounds.  She is Anthony’s biological aunt.
