Carjacking of Food Delivery Service Driver NR24020jc

Los Angeles: Robbery Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division are investigating a carjacking of a food delivery service driver.

A carjacking occurred on January 15, 2024, around 9:50 p.m., at the corner of 10th Street and Plymouth Avenue. The victim, who works as a food delivery service driver, stated he was followed after picking up food for delivery. The suspect vehicle, described as a newer model black SUV, subsequently blocked his path. Two suspects exited the suspect vehicle and, at gun point, ordered the victim to exit his vehicle and patted him down, taking his wallet and his car keys. Suspects 1 and 2 then drove away in victim’s vehicle. Suspects 3 and 4 remained inside their vehicle, before leaving the scene to follow Suspects 1 and 2. Detectives conducted a follow-up to the location, searching for cameras. The victim’s vehicle, 2013 white Hyundai Sonata, is still outstanding.

Suspects 1 and 2 are described as male Hispanics, 20-25 years of age. There is no description available for suspects 3 and 4, who remained inside their vehicle.
