Why:
Considered as one of the highest traditions of the Los Angeles Police Department, the Honor Cordon will be formed by both sworn and civilian LAPD employees to pay tribute to Chief Moore as he leaves LAPD Headquarters for the last time as Chief.

RSVP Required:
Members of the media who plan to attend the Honor Cordon are required to RSVP with LAPD Media Relations Division. Please call (213) 486-5910, to secure your reservation.

Parking:
On Los Angeles Street between First and Temple Streets.

Media Check-In:
Attending media are asked to check in with LAPD Public Information Officers (PIO) on the northwest corner of Los Angeles and First Street. Once checked in, PIOs will direct the media to the staging area selected for the best view of the Honor Cordon.
