Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore Officers wearing the 150th Commemorative Badge

WHY:
In our continuance to celebrate the Department’s 150th Anniversary, more than 1,500 LAPD Officers will begin to wear their 150th Anniversary Commemorative Badge on October 1, 2019.

The news conference will not only showcase the nearly identical replica of the badges worn by LAPD Officers in 1869, but inform the community that the Commemorative Badge will be worn during daily patrol and police functions until December 31, 2019.
