The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the Media provide the public with the following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.
On October 31, 2001 at approximately 5:30 P.M., the missing child was picked up by her mother at 1352 w. 252nd street, Torrance. The child had been placed in custody of her grandmother by the Department of Children’s Services. The mother had picked the child up to take her "Trick or Treating" and did not return the child as she was required to do. It is believed that the mother and child may have gone to the Visalia, California area.
The child is identified as Isabel Alexis Prado, a female Hispanic, 2 years of age, black hair, brown eyes and a heavy build. No description of the child’s clothing is available.
The mother is identified as Veronica Rosas, female Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 21 years of age, no further description. Mother and child were last seen on October 31, 2001 at 5:30 P.M..
