8-Year-Old Autistic Boy Missing in South Los Angeles

At around 11:45 a.m., Victor Thomas was found by the LA County Sheriffs at a park near 117th Street and Wilmington Boulevard. He was unharmed and returned to his family.

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.

On Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at around 8 a.m., Victor Thomas, an 8-year-old with Autism, walked away from his family’s home in the area of the 4100 block of Dorsey Street in
Los Angeles. The missing boy does not speak and only responds to the name “Baby.”

He is described as a male Black, 4 feet tall, weighing 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt, brown and green shorts, white socks and black shoes. His hair is styled with three braided ponytails and he was carrying a black backpack.
