Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the assistance of the media to provide the public with the following information to assist Law Enforcement efforts in locating a child taken by her father after a violent encounter with the child’s mother.
On Sunday, March 16, 2003, at approximately 12:10 AM., the suspect (biological father), 30 year–old Francisco Rosas, was involved in a domestic violence incident with the child’s mother in the 8400 block of Stanford Avenue, Los Angeles. After the violent attack, Rosas took the couples’ three-year-old girl away in a vehicle and is possibly enroute to Mexico. (The child’s mother received a bite and a stab wound and was treated and released at scene by paramedics.)
The child is described as follows: 3 ½ year old Jadida Michelle Espinoza, a female Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, approximately 3 feet tall and 55 pounds. Jadida was last seen wearing an unknown color shirt and brown shorts.
The suspect, Francisco Rosas, is described as a male Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’11" tall; weighing 190 pounds. Rosas was recently paroled from state prison and is considered dangerous. The suspect was last seen with the child in a 1992 light brown Chevrolet Tahoe, unknown license plate number.
