On July 13, 2011, Lovedeep Singh was located in the City of Merced. He was in good condition and there were no signs of foul play. He may have accidentally become separated from his group and tried on his own to reconnect with them. The Department of Children and Family Services have taken custody of him and arrangements are being made for his return to India.

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old boy visiting the Los Angeles area from India.

Lovedeep Singh was part of an organized educational tour group visiting Los Angeles.  Singh was last seen Thursday morning, June 23, 2011, at around 8:30 a.m., near the Radisson Hotel, in the 3500 block of South Figueroa Street.

Singh speaks Hindu, but also speaks limited English.  This was Singh’s first visit to Los Angeles and he is unfamiliar with the area. The circumstances surrounding Singh’s disappearance are unclear, but there is currently no evidence of foul play.

Singh is as a male Indian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  He was wearing a gray shirt, tan pants, and carrying a red back pack.
