Child Abduction Regional Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Alert Father wanted for Violation of Court Order NR13035am

Today, 42-year-old Daniel Dupuy was arrested in the 100 block of Hill Street.  He was booked at LAPD 77th Jail for Child Abduction.  His bail was set at $50,000.00 and the children are safe.

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department 77th Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating three children that were taken by their father, in violation of a court order.

On Friday, February 1, 2013, around 6 p.m., the father, Daniel Dupuy failed to return his children as instructed by court order.  Dupuy had posted on Facebook that he was taking the children from their mother and not returning.  Dupuy also warned family and friends not to tell the mother or police as to his location.

Dupuy’s roommate was contacted and advised police that Dupuy and the three children had not been seen in four days.  Dupuy and the children were last seen at their mother’s residence in the 600 block of West 61st Street.  Dupuy was last seen driving a white, 1998 Volvo 740 station wagon, License Plate 2PBL984.

Daniel Dupuy is described as 42-year-old male White.  He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs about 145 pounds.

The Los Angeles Police Department needs the public’s help to locate the following children who were taken:

2-year-old, Kabil Dupuy, male Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 2 feet tall, weighing about 30 pounds.
4-year-old, Nathally Dupuy, female Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 3 feet tall, weighing about 60 pounds.
7-year-old Andrew Dupuy, male Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 4 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds.
