Child Survives Car Crash that Kills Mother NR15199jr

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in determining the
cause of a vehicle crash that took the life of a young
mother.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2015, around 1:40 a.m., a vehicle struck a
light pole at Washington Boulevard and Cochran Avenue in the city
of Los Angeles.

The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Washington Boulevard,
collided with a street light pole and overturned on the roadway.
The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Angelyn Cobarrubia of Los
Angeles, sustained massive head injuries and was pronounced dead at
scene. Cobarrubia’s two- year-old daughter was in the vehicle and
was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Detectives have issued a video clip of a possible additional
suspect’s vehicle that can be viewed at: LAPDonline.org. and is
attached to this news release.
