Each year since 1994 law enforcement agencies from both coasts have come together to battle it out in a boxing ring to help deliver a blow to a formidable opponent, cancer.
City of Hope is a world renowned hospital that offers treatment and hope to its patients. By partnering with the hospital to raise money for the cancer research and treatment programs they offer, the LAPD, LASD, and NYPD form an important alliance to bring resources, assurance and hope to those affected by this insidious disease. Over the past 17 years of the Fight for Life events, nearly $900,000 has been raised to support the work done by City of Hope.
