Los Angeles: Homicide detectives need the public’s assistance in capturing the man that shot and killed his co-worker in Arleta.
On Thursday, October 6th, at about 2:40 p.m., officers responded to a “Shots Fired” radio call at Sunburst Street and Bartee Avenue, where they found the victim lying next to a vehicle.
The investigation revealed the suspect and two of his co-workers were involved in a dispute. The suspect, driving a possible 1993-1995 dark blue Nissan Sentra, followed the victims in their vehicle and forced them to the curb. The suspect argued with the driver and shot him in the torso. The suspect then shot several times at the passenger, but missed him.
The driver, who died from his injuries, is described as a male Hispanic, about 28 years old, 5’06” tall, and weighing 140 lbs. The victim has not yet been positively identified.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, about 28 years old, 5’9″tall, weighing 186 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. The unidentified suspect is only known as “Angel”.
