Why:
May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM). The LAPD will be acknowledging the tremendous contributions and influence made by members of the AAPI community to history, culture, and achievements to the United States and more specifically the Los Angeles Community. The Chief of Police, Michel Moore, is cordially extending an invitation for you to join at this Press Conference to commemorate APAHM. It is anticipated that the Chief will discuss the new AAPI Resource Cards, education efforts to increase awareness and media outreach.

*LAPD public information officers will be present to ensure COVID-19 protocols are followed. All attendees must wear a mask and social distance.
