Commercial Burglary Suspect Sought NR23191rc

Venice: Detectives from Department’s Pacific Area are asking for the public’s help in obtaining any information that would lead to the identification of the suspects involved in a Commercial Burglary in the Venice Area.

On June 29, 2023, around 11:40 p.m., the suspects parked a newer white, 4D, pickup truck with no license plates on Indiana Avenue west of Lincoln Boulevard. An unknown suspect climbed on top of a white storage box positioned at the rear of a local store located in the 700 block of Lincoln Boulevard.

The suspect covered the surveillance cameras located on the roof of the local store and cut a hole in the ceiling to gain entry. While inside the location, the suspect covered another surveillance camera and took an unknown number of items. The suspect passed numerous amounts of items back through the hole in the ceiling to another unknown suspect. Both suspects fled the location at around 3:58 a.m. when the alarm was activated.

One of the suspects is described as a male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, white shoes, red gloves and a red and black baseball cap. The suspect’s hood was covering his head.
