Why:
For the past thirteen years, LAPD’s Central Traffic Division has been proud to organize the annual Cops for Tots Car and Motorcycle Show.  Since its inception in 1996, the proceeds from this show have benefited the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit of the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.  As our show grew larger and our proceeds increased, we expanded the number of children’s charities that share in the success of our show.

This year, we will be changing the venue and the way in which we do our show.   We have organized a series of Cruise-ins that will take place at Ricky and Ronnie’s Cruise-In Diner.

There will be no entry fee to participate.  The invitation will be extended to past participants as well as the general public.  Vehicles will be parked on a first-come-first-served basis and a “Best of Show” trophy will be awarded at each of the events.  Food will be prepared by our generous sponsors while police officers wait tables serving meals and drinks.  The tips the officers receive will benefit our children’s charities.

If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Officers Robert Cosner or Victor Islas at 213-236-9254.  You can also visit the web site at www.LAPDCOPS4TOTS.com.
