WHY: Local media outlets are invited for a photo opportunity when Councilmember Bob Blumenfield will ride along with LAPD officers and members of the local citizen patrol during a shift in the Topanga Area.
The councilman will be available for short interviews prior to starting the ride along at the Topanga Police Station at 10 a.m. The ride along is expected to last about four hours.
